On March 25, the second group of Covenant from West Laffayette, Indiana, was able to arrive in the city of Merida. The group had the opportunity to help the New Jerusalem Church in Colonia Nueva Guadalupana, on the outskirts of the city. Through the construction of a floor and the foundations to build a future roof. They were also able to do Bible School for children, where we were able to share the word of the Lord. But not only that, we were able to finish the project in Kankabchen, placing a waterproofing layer on the roof.

We thank God for allowing us to work together in the service of his church.

We must admit that the project took a little longer than expected, 4 days in total of work, each day we prepared approximately 50 sacks of cement to cover the floor of this church. The church located in Halacho, Yuc. needed the construction of this floor, due to the fact that in times of rain the place used to flood. Congregating under these circumstances was not possible.

We thank God for His love, which is shown through the service of our brothers and sisters of North Point GA.

Kochol is located 52 miles from Merida, our landmark; this population began the work of evangelism in 1973. their need in the construction was to make a roof of 96 feet long by 33 wide, which thanks to the impulse of Be Rich were able to could the goal. It is a joy for the community, which trusted the Lord for the challenge of building a new temple, which now has a large and strong roof

Be Rich program also reached several homes, this is the case of the González family, made up of brothers Carlos and Abigail, who have three children. Over the years his efforts had been reflected in raising his house, but the finishes on the walls were one of the great slopes. Now we hear them very happy, greatly grateful and motivated to continue in the Christian life.

This summer, the Faith Presbyterian Church missionary group in Athens, GA and the local Church El Sinai had the opportunity to work together. This church is located in Santa Rosa Maxcanu, located 48 miles from the city of Merida. During the week, the goals set were achieved with the construction of a 100 mts2 ceiling and the floor for 4 classrooms.
